Tottenham willing to make 25 million euros offer for Ivan Perisic

Tottenham are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Croatia international Ivan Perisic.

According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Tottenham are set to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

The Croatia international was signed by Inter Milan in August 2015 from VfL Wolfsburg for a fee of 19 million euros. The 30-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.

In total, Perisic has scored 36 goals and supplied 36 assists from 153 Inter Milan matches.

The 30-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Croatia.

His record for Croatia is also impressive. Perisic has scored 22 goals in 78 matches for Croatia at senior level.

Ivan Perisic is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Inter Milan this summer and the list of suitors in the Croatia international continues to grow.

The report claims that Tottenham manager has extensively scouted Perisic and is considering a move for the winger.

Tottenham are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.

Ivan Perisic is a dynamic winger, who possesses good technical skills and ball control.

According to the report, “The Croatia international was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the January transfer window but a loan switch failed to materialise. Perisic’s future at the San Siro remains in doubt, however, with a summer departure expected. Reports in Italy suggest Inter Milan have decided to sell the 30-year-old at the end of the season. According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Nerazzurri have already set an asking price worth £30m (€35m). Tottenham are reportedly on the hunt. But the Italian publication claim Spurs are only ready to offer £21.4m (€25m).”

Signing the 30-year-old in the summer transfer window would be a masterstroke from Pochettino.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Tottenham.

It will be interesting to see whether Tottenham will make their move during the summer transfer window.
