Tottenham willing to buy Southampton right-back Tino Livramento

The Spurs are on the hunt for a right-back, and Tino Livramento is a player who is thought to be on their radar.

According to multiple reports emanating from England, Tottenham are willing to buy Southampton right-back Tino Livramento.

The England international was signed by Southampton in August 2021 from Chelsea for a fee of 5.9 million euros. The 19-year-old has a contract until 2026 with the club.

In 24 appearances for Southampton, Livramento has managed to score one goal, and create two goals for his teammates.

The 19-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in England. Livramento has represented England at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 23 caps.

His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.

Antonio Conte wants to sign a new right-back and Livramento is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a long term admirer of Livramento and believes he can get the most out of the England international.

The Spurs are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.

According to Football Insider, 19-year-old Livramento is emerging as a key option for that right-wing back spot. Recruitment chief Fabio Paratici is ready to talk with the Saints about a summer deal. Spurs had been hoping to secure Adama Traore from Wolves in the winter, but were turned down by the Spanish star after he received a loan offer from Barcelona. It has been recently revealed that Livramento’s former club Chelsea possess a buy-back clause to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.”

Livramento has all the skillset required to be a success story at Tottenham. Therefore, it makes sense for Conte to step up his attempts to bring the England right-back to Premier League side.
