Jose Mourinho wants to sign a new defensive midfielder and Geoffrey Kondogbia is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

He is a long term admirer of Kondogbia and believes he can get the most out of the Central African Republic international.

Geoffrey Kondogbia can play multiple positions in midfield.

According to the report, “Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is ready to jettison Tanguy Ndombele this summer. Mourinho publicly lambasted Ndombele after last week’s draw at Burnley and is willing to see him sold. And the Portuguese already has a replacement lined up in Geoffrey Kondogbia. The dual international is in his third season with Valencia, having originally joined on-loan from Inter Milan two years ago. Capped for France, Kondogbia is now a Central African Republic international.”
