Tottenham tracking Hull City defender Harry Maguire
According to the football transfer rumours in British Media, Tottenham are tracking Hull City defender Harry Maguire.
Harry Maguire has joined Hull City from Sheffield United for a fee in the region of 3.2 million euros in 2014. The 24 year-old has a valid contract with Hull City until June 2018.
Since his arrival from Sheffield United, Harry Maguire has scored three goals and provided five assists in 72 games for Hull City, including three goals and provided three assists in 33 games in all competitions this season.
The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best defenders in England.
Harry Maguire has represented England at Under-21 level, winning one cap.
The England international is a player who has impressed many Premier League clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino would prefer playing him as a centre-back.
Euro Football Rumours understood that Hull City would seek in the region of 18 million euros for Maguire in the summer transfer window.
How strong that interest is and whether Tottenham will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
