Tottenham join the hunt for Franck Kessie

According to the football transfer rumours in British and Italian media, Tottenham have joined the hunt for Milan star Franck Kessie.
The 25-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
AC Milan spent 24 million euros to sign the Ivory Coast international from Atalanta in the summer of 2019. The 25-year-old has a valid contract until June 2022.
The midfielder has banged in three goals and provided one assist in 20 matches for this term on all fronts.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Ivory Coast. His record for Ivory Coast is impressive. Kessie has scored five goals in 52 matches for Ivory Coast at senior level.
He is enjoying an excellent season so far.
The midfielder’s contract at Milan is about to expire and a number of clubs are said to be monitoring his situation, with Tottenham showing the most concrete interest in an attempt to lure the player to their team.
Antonio Conte is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him to London.

According to the report, “Tottenham are interested in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie. Kessie is out of contract at AC Milan at the end of the season and La Gazzetta dello Sport says Tottenham are among the clubs monitoring his situation. Kessie said in September that he wanted to remain at Milan but the Italian club have faced a different reality during negotiations with his agent George Atangana. Kessie’s agent has demanded an €9m-a-year salary. It remains to be seen if Spurs would be willing to meet those demands, especially given his performance levels have dropped off this season. PSG have also been linked with a move for Kessie.”
