Tottenham join the hunt for Monaco wonder kid Kylian Mbappe
According to the football transfer rumours in French Media, Tottenham are joining the hunt for AS Monaco wonder kid Kylian Mbappe.
Kylian Mbappe has joined AS Monaco from Monaco Under 19 in 2016. The 18 year-old has a valid contract with AS Monaco until June 2019.
Since his arrival from Monaco Under 19, Kylian Mbappe has scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 37 games for AS Monaco in all competitions.
The 18-year-old is considered to be one of the brightest prospects in the Ligue 1.
Mbappe has represented France at Under-17 and Under-19 level, winning 13 caps and scoring seven goals.
The France international is a player who has impressed many European clubs in the last season, and it is understood that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino would prefer playing him as a forward. He could be perfect partner with Harry Kane and Dele Alli in the Spurs attack.
Premier League giants Arsenal are apparently trailing Tottenham in the pursuit of AS Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.
How strong that interest is and whether Tottenham will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
