Torino are discussing a move to sign Roberto Pereyra.

The latest reports in Italy suggest that Torino are keen on Watford forward Roberto Pereyra.

His performances have seen him become the target of many Serie A clubs including Torino.

Walter Mazzarri is looking to shore up his attacking options and Watford’s Roberto Pereyra happens to be a target. He is a long term admirer of Pereyra and believes he can get the most out of the Argentina international.

The 28-year-old has the talent to play many roles in midfield and attack.

According to Football Italia, “Torino are reviving their attempts to bring Roberto Pereyra back to Serie A from Watford, according to Tuttosport. The Granata had already approached him during the January transfer window, but were rebuffed. Now Coach Walter Mazzarri is pushing again for a reunion with the player he brought to Watford from Juventus in 2016. Toro are on the verge of qualifying for the Europa League and are not out of the race for a Champions League spot either. That would bring a bigger budget and free up the cash to sign Pereyra, whose price-tag is in the region of €20m.”

A big money bid from Torino could tempt Watford into selling their prized asset.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Torino.

Torino fans would certainly love to see him arrive at the club this summer.
