Stoke submit bid for New York City winger Jack Harrison

Jack Harrison has emerged as a surprise target for Stoke City in the winter transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Stoke City have submitted bid for New York City winger Jack Harrison.

The England international joined New York City from Chicago Fire in January 2016.

Harrison has scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists in 61 games for New York City.

Jack Harrison has represented England at Under-21 level, winning two caps.

The England international has impressed in the MLS and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.

Paul Lambert is looking to shore up his attacking options and New York City’s Jack Harrison happens to be a target.

The England international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking player Paul Lambert wants to target.

Stoke City are desperate to make an impact in winter transfer window.

According to the report, Stoke City have made a 3.6 million euros bid for New York City winger Jack Harrison. A number of Premier League and Championship sides have followed his progress but Stoke have moved to table an offer that will also include add-ons. Harrison was born in Stoke before moving to Bolton as a boy and the family re-located to Massachusetts in USA when he was 14. Harrison spent a season on Liverpool’s books before making the switch to bitter rivals Manchester United where he featured for seven years before departing in 2010.


Signing the 21-year-old in January would be a masterstroke from Paul Lambert.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Stoke City.
