Sassuolo agree deal with Inter Milan for Domenico Berardi
Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi has emerged as a surprise target for Inter Milan ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media, Sassuolo have reached agreement with Inter Milan for Domenico Berardi.
Domenico Berardi has joined Sassuolo from Juventus for a fee in the region of 10 million euros in July 2015. The 27 year-old has a valid contract with Sassuolo until June 2019.
Since his arrival from Juventus, Domenico Berardi has scored 57 goals and provided 37 assists in 152 games for Sassuolo, including eight goals and provided five assists in 18 games in all competitions this season.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Serie A. The Italy international has been in fine form for Sassuolo this season.
Domenico Berardi has represented Italy at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 23 caps and scoring four goals.
The Italy international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking player Stefano Pioli wants to target in the next transfer window.
Euro Football Rumours understood that Sassuolo valuate their striker Domenico Berardi around 40 million euros but Inter Milan will reduce the price by including Gianluca Caprari who is currently on loan at Pescara.
