Real Madrid monitoring Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

There has been numerous forwards linked with Real Madrid in past few months.

According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Real Madrid are monitoring Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund for a fee in the region of 64 million euros in January 2018. His contract expires in the summer of 2021.

Aubameyang has scored 20 goals and assisted one more across all competitions this season.

His record for Gabon is also impressive. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 20 goals in 51 matches for Gabon at senior level.

Zinedine Zidane wants to sign a new forward and Aubameyang is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a long-term target of Real Madrid and could be a decent addition for Zidane’s side.

The Gabon international is a dynamic forward, who possesses good technical skills and ball control.

According to the report, “Real Madrid are tracking Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s status at Arsenal. The 30-year-old will become a free agent in 2021, and negotiations over an extension are in limbo. Le10Sport says Real are deadly serious about signing the Gabonese goal machine. They believe Aubameyang’s expiring contract will force Arsenal to part with a nominal fee. However, an extension with the Gunners hasn’t been completely ruled out, leaving Los Blancos to watch patiently in the meantime.”


Real Madrid will have to come up with the right proposal to convince Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join the club.

Signing the 30-year-old would be a masterstroke from Zinedine Zidane.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Real Madrid.

Real fans would certainly love to see him arrive at the club.

It will be interesting to see whether Real will make their move during the summer transfer window.
