Real Madrid appear to have a genuine interest in signing RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano this winter.
According to the football transfer rumours in Don Balon, Real Madrid have joined the hunt for RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano.
The France international has joined RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg for a fee in the region of 10 million euros in January 2017. The 18-year-old has a valid contract with RB Leipzig until June 2021. Upamecano has played 18 times for RB Leipzig since signing from Red Bull Salzburg.
The 18-year-old is considered to be one of the best young centre-backs in France.
The France international has been in fantastic form for RB Leipzig this season.
Dayot Upamecano has represented France at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level, winning 31 caps and scoring one goal.

How strong that interest is and whether Real Madrid will make a winter move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
Dayot Upamecano would reportedly be interested in a move this winter, but if Real Madrid do want him, they will have to beat those other interested clubs to his signature.
