Paris Saint-Germain considering a move for Liverpool winger Sadio Mané

When it comes to the transfer market, Paris Saint-Germain are simply one of the best in the business.

According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Liverpool winger Sadio Mané.

The Senegal international joined Liverpool from Southampton for a fee in the region of 41 million euros in July 2016.

Mané has played 145 times for Liverpool since signing from Southampton, scoring 72 goals and creating 30 assists in that time.

His record for Senegal is also impressive. Sadio Mané has scored 16 goals in 61 matches for Senegal at senior level.

Mané is a long-term target of Paris Saint-Germain and could be a decent addition for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Paris Saint-Germain are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.

There is no doubt that Mané will take Paris Saint-Germain’s attack to a different level.

According to Tribalfootball, “PSG are discussing a move for Liverpool striker Sadio Mane. France Football says PSG management are actively considering plans to bring the former Metz attacker back to Ligue 1 next year. It’s suggested PSG see Mane as the ideal replacement for Neymar, who is pushing to return to Barcelona next summer. Mané finished fourth in last week’s Ballon d´Or vote and is tied to the Reds until 2023. PSG chief Leonardo believes Mane’s style of play would fit perfectly into their team, though they’ll face having to offer record money to convince Liverpool to sell.”

Paris Saint-Germain have to fork out a huge transfer fee if they are genuinely interested in the Senegal international.

Signing the 27-year-old would be a masterstroke from Thomas Tuchel.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Paris Saint-Germain.

How strong that interest is and whether Paris Saint-Germain will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
