The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Egypt.

His record for Egypt is impressive. Elneny has scored 6 goals in 77 matches for Egypt at senior level.

Mohamed Elneny is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Arsenal this summer and the list of suitors in the Egypt international continues to grow.

Adding a midfielder remains Olympiakos’ priority this summer and Pedro Martins will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.

The report claims that Olympiakos manager has extensively scouted Elneny and is considering a move for the midfielder.

Olympiakos are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.

The Egypt international will offer the Olympiakos boss the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections.

According to the report, “Olympiakos are chasing a deal for Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny. The Egypt international is currently on-loan with Besiktas, but a release from his contract is now being considered. Sportime in Greece says Olympiakos are watching developments closely and prepared to move for the midfielder once his wrangle with Besiktas is settled. With the season due to resume in Turkey, there’s confusion around whether Elneny will be part of the Besiktas squad for the restart. Besiktas’ board is in the process of cutting their budget for next season and are set to allow the Gunners midfielder to depart.”

Olympiakos will have to come up with the right proposal to convince Mohamed Elneny to join the club.

Good signing for Olympiakos?

The 27-year-old would be a very good addition for Olympiakos and they can afford him as well.

Mohamed Elneny is very highly rated in Egypt and he could be a superb long term signing for Olympiakos.

There has been no mention of a possible transfer fee in this report.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Olympiakos come calling for Elneny this summer.
