The Denmark international was signed by RB Leipzig in July 2013 from Lyngby BK for a fee of 1.55 million euros. The 25-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.
In 248 appearances for Leipzig, Poulsen has managed to score 61 goals, and create 49 goals for his teammates.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Denmark.
