The reports in England suggested that Newcastle United have joined Southampton in race for Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The England international joined Liverpool from Arsenal for a fee in the region of 38 million euros in August 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
In 104 appearances for Liverpool, Oxlade-Chamberlain has managed to score 14 goals, and create 11 goals for his teammates.
His record for England is also impressive. Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored 7 goals in 35 matches for England at senior level.
The England international is currently out of favor at Liverpool and could leave the club this summer.
