Reports in the British media claim that Newcastle United are preparing move for Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch.

The 26-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

The Austria international joined Hoffenheim from Werder Bremen on a free transfer in July 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.

The midfielder has featured in 10 matches this term in all competitions.

Austria international Grillitsch also attracted enquiries from AC Milan last summer, though his €15m valuation at the time turned them off.”
