Newcastle prepare mega offer for Eberechi Eze
Newcastle are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on England international.
It’s claimed by British media that Newcastle are preparing mega offer for Eberechi Eze.
The England international joined Crystal Palace from Queens Park Rangers for a fee in the region of 17.8 million euros in August 2020. His contract expires in the summer of 2025.
The attacking midfielder has featured in 9 matches this term in all competitions.
Eberechi Eze has represented England at Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 15 caps and scoring one goal.
His performances have seen him become the target of many Premier League clubs including Newcastle.
The Magpies have earmarked Crystal Palace attacking midfielder as their target, with Eddie Howe being a ‘huge admirer’ of the player. Howe has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe.
The former Queens Park Rangers man will offer the Newcastle boss the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections.
According to the report, “Newcastle United are set to put in a mega offer for Crystal Palace youngster Eberechi Eze. The attacking midfielder was wanted by the Magpies on loan, with the club offering a £5 million fee in January. However, despite that deal not happening, The Sun reports that Newcastle will go back in for the 23-year-old. The newly rich club are willing to pay up to £45 million to secure the creative star. Eze has managed only one Premier League start this term, as he is still working on his fitness after returning from an Achilles injury.”

Newcastle will have to present a really enticing offer to bring Crystal Palace to the negotiating table. The Magpies have the resources to tempt them but it will be interesting to see if they are willing to overpay for the player.
Crystal Palace would be wise to keep the England international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.

Eberechi Eze stands as an excellent option for Newcastle.
He will be an ideal choice for Howe as he ticks all the right boxes in terms of what he demands from his attackers.
Stylistically, Eze would be a great fit in Newcastle.
It will be interesting to see if Newcastle can convince the English outfit to sell Eze in the coming transfer window.
