It is no question that Munir El Haddadi wants to leave Barcelona. The forward has been linked with several European clubs, and is now rumored to be the subject of interest from Napoli.
El Haddadi made 53 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona, scoring 11 goals and supplying 11 assists in return.
He’s incredibly experienced for a 23-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
Munir El Haddadi has represented Spain at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 19 caps and scoring 12 goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2014. As a member of Spain national football team, El Haddadi won one cap.
Given that his contract is expiring in June and he has not yet signed an extension, the rumors have only heated up in recent weeks.
Carlo Ancelotti wants to sign a new forward and Munir El Haddadi is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him next summer.
, “Napoli are reportedly hoping to sign Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi on a free transfer next summer. According to Sport and Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have already begun ‘pulling the strings’ to entice Munir, who can negotiate pre-contractual agreements with other clubs from January 1. The newspapers explain the Partenopei ‘want to strengthen their attack at the lowest possible cost’, and the 23-year-old would fit the bill. Sport also notes ‘there is no agreement’ for Munir to extend his contract, which expires on June 30, although Napoli ‘aren’t the only team’ interested in the Spaniard. Munir has seen just 228 minutes of action for Barca this season but impressed on loan at Alaves last term, scoring 14 goals for the Basques.”

Signing the 23-year-old would be a masterstroke from Carlo Ancelotti.
Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Napoli.
How strong that interest is and whether Napoli will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
