There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Iker Muniain in the last period.

Napoli have entered talks with Iker Muniain, according to the football transfer rumours in Italian media.

The 25-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

Muniain made 359 appearances across all competitions for Athletic Bilbao, scoring 51 goals and supplying 36 assists in return.

He’s incredibly experienced for a 25-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.

As a member of Spain national football team, Muniain won one cap.

Given that his contract is expiring this summer and he has not yet signed an extension, the rumors have only heated up in recent weeks.

The 25-year-old’s contract is due to expire in June 2019 and he has been unable to work out terms for a new deal. According to Tuttosport, Napoli have already begun talks with the player’s father and agent. At the moment, it would seem to be waiting for him to become a free agent rather than trying a January approach.”
