Steven Nzonzi would provide a good variety to Monaco’s midfield.

According to Football Italia, “Monaco have joined Olympique Lyonnais in chasing Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi, who turned down a move to Galatasaray. The Frenchman was purchased from Sevilla last year for €26m, but struggled to make an impact and is widely expected to leave this summer. According to Sky Sport Italia, Monaco have begun negotiations with Roma and hope to secure a deal soon. Sportitalia report that Lyon are still in the lead, whereas Calciomercato.it suggest Galatasaray didn’t even get to make an offer before he rejected the option outright.
