Monaco join the hunt for Inter left-back Dalbert

It’s no secret that Monaco are interested in Inter’s left-back Dalbert. But who isn’t?

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Monaco have joined the hunt for Inter left-back Dalbert.

The Brazil international joined Inter from Nice for a fee in the region of 20 million euros in August 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.

Dalbert has played 16 times for Inter since signing from Nice.

He is 24-year-old and has his peak years ahead.

Dalbert is currently out of favor at Inter and could leave the club in the summer.

Monaco are in the market for a new left-back when the transfer window reopens.

The Monaco giants are looking to shore up their defensive options and Inter’s Dalbert happens to be a target.

Monaco will be desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.

According to Football Italia (via L’Equipe), “Marseille and Borussia Dortmund have already shown interest in the Brazilian, who turns 25 in September. Now French newspaper L’Equipe claims a return to the Riviera is on the cards, but for Nice’s neighbours AS Monaco.”

Inter are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the left-back, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

The 24-year-old is certainly a player that would strengthen the current Monaco squad and would be a good buy in the summer transfer window.

Will Dalbert be a Monaco player soon? Only time will tell.
