M’Baye Niang set to undergo Everton medical ahead of move from Milan
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media (Football Italia), M’Baye Niang will undergo Everton medical ahead of move from AC Milan.
The France international was signed by AC Milan in August 2012 from Caen for a fee of 3 million euros. The 22-year-old has a valid contract with AC Milan until June 2019. In January 2017, M’Baye Niang was sent to Watford on loan for second part of the season.
Niang has played 77 times for AC Milan since signing from Caen in 2012, scoring 12 goals and creating 10 assists in that time.
The 22-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in France.
M’Baye Niang has represented France at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-21 level, winning 18 caps and scoring four goals.
Adding a striker or two remains Everton’s top priority this summer and Ronald Koeman will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming days.
