As the summer transfer window comes closer and closer Manchester United are being linked with more and more potential transfers.
Manchester United are willing to buy Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, according to the football transfer rumours in British and German media.
Bayern spent 21 million euros to sign the France international from Juventus in the summer of 2017. The 24-year-old has two years left on his current contract which expires in 2023.
The winger has featured in 38 matches this term, netting 7 goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions.
He’s incredibly experienced for a 24-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
His record for France is also impressive. Coman has scored 5 goals in 29 matches for France at senior level.
The 24-year-old will be high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Bayern this term.
United are looking to sign a winger and have identified the 24-year-old as potential transfer target.
The France international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of winger Ole Gunnar Solskjær wants to target in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old is a quick and agile wide player who loves to make a few driving runs with the ball out on the flanks. He is not afraid to take on his markers and can beat them with pace to set-up some promising goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates inside the opponent’s penalty area. His arrival would give United some much needed tactical flexibility.
According to the report, “Manchester United are reviving long-term interest in Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman. United made an enquiry after the France international last summer and have maintained a watching brief this season. BILD says Bayern and Coman have hit a deadlock over new contract talks, which has encouraged United to again firm up their interest. With a deal to 2023, Coman is demanding parity with the club’s top earners – something which Bayern are refusing to consider. In contrast, United are willing to offer Coman an annual salary of almost €12m net to leave Munich this summer.”
