Manchester United target Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic
According to the football transfer rumours in Croatian Media, Manchester United are targeting Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Marcelo Brozovic has joined Inter Milan from Dinamo Zagreb for a fee in the region of 5 million euros in 2016. The 24 year-old has a valid contract with Inter Milan until June 2021.
Since his arrival from Dinamo Zagreb, Marcelo Brozovic has scored 13 goals and provided ten assists in 73 games for Inter Milan, including five goals and provided four assists in 22 games in all competitions this season.
The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Croatia.
Marcelo Brozovic has represented Croatia at Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 23 caps and scoring ten goals, before making his senior international debut in June 2014. As a member of Croatia national football team, Brozovic has won 25 caps and score six goals.
The Croatia international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfield player José Mourinho wants to target in the next transfer window.
Euro Football Rumours understood the Jose Mourinho was in Zagreb to watch Croatia national football team. He made an approach for Croatia international Perisic, but was told that Inter won’t sell him for less than 60 million euros, so Mourinho turn his focus to Perisic teammate Brozovic. Inter Milan valuate their midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in the region of 50 million euros.
