Manchester United set to sign Miralem Pjanic
There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Miralem Pjanic in the last period.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Manchester United are set to sign Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international joined Juventus from Roma for a fee in the region of 32 million euros in July 2016. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
Pjanic has played 108 times for Juventus since signing from Roma, scoring 18 goals and creating 30 assists in that time.
His record for Bosnia and Herzegovina is also impressive. Pjanic has scored 11 goals in 84 matches for Bosnia and Herzegovina at senior level.
The Manchester United manager is in the market for a new midfielder.
Jose Mourinho is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.

This is according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, who state that Pjanic will leave Juve in January after becoming unhappy playing alongside the Portugal star. The report suggests that the Bosnia international with Real Madrid as a replacement for Luka Modric, who has been linked with a move to Inter Milan. However, it also mentioned that Untied are in for the £85million-rated playmaker, with Jose Mourinho keen on signing a world-class midfielder to help transform his side’s fortunes.”
