Manchester United linked with a move for Vedat Muriqi
There has been numerous strikers linked with Manchester United in past few months.
British source claim that Manchester United are linked with a move for Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi.
The 25-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Kosovo international only joined Fenerbahce from Çaykur Rizespor in 2019 for 3.5 million euros and his contract runs to June 2023.
In total, he has scored two goals from 4 Fenerbahce matches.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Kosovo. As a member of Kosovo national football team Muriqi won 20 caps and he scored 5 goals.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Manchester United.
The Manchester United manager is in the market for a new striker. He wants to sign a new striker and Muriqi is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
The Kosovo international provides a unique blend between a classic center-forward and the modern striker.

The Daily Express says United had scouts checking out Muriqi when he netted against England at Wembley on Tuesday night. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bolster his front line when the winter transfer window opens in the New Year. Solskjaer despite his best efforts wasn’t able to replace Romelu Lukaku who moved to Inter Milan before the summer transfer window closed last month. Muriqi only moved to struggling Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the summer in a bargain £3.1 million but he started the season in impressive form. He has scored twice in the opening three Super Lig games and Fenerbahce are being tempted to cash in by making a massive quick profit.”
