Manchester United join Sevilla in race for Monaco centre-back Benoit Badiashile

The Red Devils appear to have a genuine interest in signing Benoit Badiashile this summer.

According to multiple reports emanating from France, Manchester United have joined Sevilla in race for Monaco centre-back Benoit Badiashile. He has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

The 21-year-old’s contract at Monaco is set to expire at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

The centre-back finished the 2021/22 season with a tally of one goal and one assist from 34 matches across all competitions.

He has long been touted as one of France’s most promising young talents. Badiashile has represented France at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 44 caps.

His impressive performances last season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.
