The centre-back has two goals and one assist in 34 LaLiga games this season.
Pau Torres is incredibly experienced for a 23-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
Torres has represented Spain at Under-21 level, winning one cap, before making his senior international debut in November 2019. As a member of Spain national football team, Torres won one cap and he scored one goal.
His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær wants to sign a new centre-back and Torres is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
The report claims that Manchester United manager has extensively scouted Pau Torres and is considering a move for the centre-back.

Pau Torres has the talent to play many roles in defense.
According to the report, “Manchester United have joined the interest in Villarreal defender Pau Torres. The Times says United are considering a move for Torres. United are keen to strengthen their options at centre-back this summer and the 23-year-old has been identified as the club scours Europe for the best young talent. Torres has a release clause of around £45million in his contract, which still has three years left to run. Villarreal would likely need to lower their asking price if Torres were to move over the coming months.”
