The 19-year-old’s contract at Ajax is set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

The midfielder has featured in 28 matches this term, netting one goal and providing four assists in all competitions.

He has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Netherlands.

Ryan Gravenberch has represented Netherlands at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 33 caps and scoring 3 goals, before making his senior international debut in March 2021. As a member of Netherlands national football team, Gravenberch won 10 caps and he scored one goal.

His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.

Adding a midfielder remains Manchester City’s top priority this summer and Pep Guardiola will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming months.

The 19-year-old could leave in the summer, as Ajax would not want him to leave on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.”
