Lyon considering a move for Dalbert
Lyon are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Brazil international Dalbert.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Lyon are considering a move for Inter Milan left-back Dalbert.
The Brazil international was signed by Inter Milan in August 2017 from Nice for a fee of 21 million euros. The 25-year-old has a contract until 2023 with the club.
Dalbert has scored one goal and assisted one more across all competitions this season. He is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Inter Milan this summer and the list of suitors in the Brazil international continues to grow.
Sylvinho is looking to shore up his defensive options and Inter Milan’s Dalbert happens to be a target. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
According to Football Italia (via FC Inter News), “Olympique Lyonnais are reportedly considering Inter left-back Dalbert as a replacement for Ferland Mendy. Mendy recently completed a €48m transfer to Real Madrid, and FC Inter News claims Lyon are showing ‘real and serious’ interest in Dalbert to fill the void. The website explains that although Monaco and Olympique Marseille are also pursuing him, their Ligue 1 rivals – now coached by Roberto Mancini’s former Nerazzurri assistant Sylvinho – can ‘easily’ afford a permanent deal. The Beneamata spent €21m to sign the Brazilian from Nice in the summer of 2017, but he has gone on to play just 26 times for the club in two seasons. In order to avoid capital losses, FCIN writes they are demanding ‘at least €15m’ from suitors.”

A big money bid from Lyon could tempt Inter Milan into selling their prized asset.
Signing the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window would be a masterstroke from Sylvinho.
Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Lyon.
Whether he will join Lyon or not remains to be seen.
