Cakir has conceded 125 goals and provided 24 clean sheets in 106 games for Trabzonspor.

Cakir has 10 clean sheets for his club this season, and that form continued for his country as he finished the game without being beaten. The report in the Express revealed Chelsea had shown interest in the stopper in the summer, but opted for Edouard Mendy instead. It was not only Liverpool who were present for the World Cup Qualifier, with RB Leipzig and Sevilla also travelling to Malaga for the Group G match.”
