Sancho has also left his mark at the international stage after netting 3 goals in 18 senior appearances for the England national team.

Klopp is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.

The England international will offer the Liverpool boss the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections. He has the quality and the experience to make an immediate impact.

According to the report, “The Reds owner is facing a backlash from supporters and pundits alike. That’s after Liverpool’s involvement – and subsequent withdrawal – from the European Super League. The American has already issued a grovelling apology to fans over the farce. However, Henry knows the entire episode has proved a huge PR disaster for Liverpool. As such, he knows he needs to do something pretty special to win back favour from supporters and Jurgen Klopp. Indeed a report on Wednesday claimed Klopp was considering his future over the whole unsavoury saga. To that end, Fijaches claims Henry and FSG are willing to sign Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer. The outlet says Henry will slap down a club-record £86.1m (€100m) offer to Dortmund to tempt them to sell the winger.”

The Reds will have to present a really enticing offer to bring Borussia to the negotiating table. Liverpool have the resources to tempt them but it will be interesting to see if they are willing to overpay for the player.

BVB are preparing to sell their winger should they receive a massive offer for him.

Jadon Sancho ideal fit for Liverpool?

Undoubtedly he would be a fantastic recruit for Liverpool.

It is smart from the club to invest in younger players, rather than splashing out big money on experienced players with no resale value.

As for the player, Liverpool could be a great place for him to grow as a footballer. They will be able to provide him with regular first-team football and he will be coached by a very good manager like Klopp.

A winger of Sancho’s ceiling will be a massive addition to Liverpool squad as he will not only improve the overall quality of Klopp’s starting XI but also add some stability and variety to his attacking department.

How strong that interest is and whether Liverpool will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
