It’s claimed by British and Spanish media that Liverpool are linked with surprise move for Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
The 29-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
Barcelona spent 135 million euros to sign the Brazil international from Liverpool in the winter of 2018. The 29-year-old has two years left on his current contract which expires in 2023.
The midfielder has featured in 14 matches last term, netting 3 goals and providing 2 assists in all competitions.
Coutinho has also left his mark at the international stage after netting 18 goals in 63 senior appearances for the Brazil national team.

If the Reds lose one of their key players before now and the end of the transfer window then he would look into replacing them with their former player. Liverpool could now land their former player for a fraction of the price they sold him for, with reports he will cost less than the add-ons that were included in his deal to Barcelona.”
