The Reds are known for going under the radar and signing some hidden gems.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Liverpool are keen on Sparta Prague striker Adam Hlozek.
The 18-year-old’s contract at Sparta is set to expire at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
He has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Czech Republic.
Adam Hlozek has represented Czech Republic at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17 and Under-21 level, winning 33 caps and scoring 19 goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2020. As a member of Czech Republic national football team, Hlozek won two caps.
The Czech Republic international has impressed this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.
The Reds are looking to sign a striker and have identified the 18-year-old as potential transfer target.
The Liverpool manager has been impressed by his performances this season and could make a move this summer.
Adam Hlozek provides a unique blend between a classic center-forward and the modern striker. His finishing abilities when in and around the box will come as a massive asset to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
According to the report, “Sparta Prague striker Adam Hlozek is being tracked by Liverpool. Football Insider says the Reds are in the market for new attackers “amid a planned shake-up of Jurgen Klopp’s side following a poor season”. A Liverpool source says the club are keeping close tabs on Hlozek, 18, following his remarkably precious emergence at Czech big guns Sparta. Hlozek is said to be strong, quick and capable of challenging the first-team having already been capped twice by the Czech Republic while making 78 appearances for Sparta. He scored nine goals and provided nine assists from 39 matches last season and, despite missing half of this season with a broken foot, the 18-year-old has scored five goals and provided eight assists from 16 matches.”

It would take a huge offer from Liverpool to prise the 18-year-old striker from Sparta Prague.
Sparta would be wise to keep the Czech Republic international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.
Good signing for Liverpool?
It is smart from the club to invest in younger players, rather than splashing out big money on experienced players with no resale value.
The 18-year-old is a promising young striker and could be a good addition to Liverpool’s squad.
Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Liverpool.
How strong that interest is and whether Liverpool will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
