Liverpool join the hunt for Lyon star Houssem Aouar

As the summer transfer window comes closer and closer Liverpool are being linked with more and more potential transfers.

The reports in England suggested that Liverpool have joined the hunt for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.

The 23-year-old’s contract at Lyon is set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

In 45 appearances last season, Aouar has managed to score 8 goals and contributed with 4 assists.

The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in France. As a member of France national football team, Aouar won one cap.

Houssem Aouar is set to be a man in demand in the summer transfer window, with a host of clubs queuing up to pursue his signature.
