Leicester City target Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer

It’s claimed by British and Italian media that Leicester City are targeting Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer.

The 23-year-old has been subject to interest from various Premier League clubs.

Torino spent 5.8 million euros to sign the Brazil international from Atlético Mineiro in the summer of 2018. The 23-year-old has three years left on his current contract which expires in 2023.

The centre-back has featured in 35 matches for Torino last term, netting 5 goals and providing 3 assists in all competitions.

His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Leicester City.

Brendan Rodgers is looking to shore up his defensive options and Torino’s Bremer happens to be a target. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this autumn.

Football Insider claims the 23-year-old Bremer is Leicester’s prime target. They will hope Europa League football will entice the defender to choose their club over the Toffees. Playing under Ancelotti would be the main draw for Bremer at Everton.”
