The reports in England suggested that Leicester City are eyeing move for Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
The England international was signed by Brentford in September 2020 from Peterborough United for a fee of 5.6 million euros. The 24-year-old has a contract until 2025 with the club.
The striker has banged in 24 goals and provided 9 assists in 34 matches this term on all fronts.
He’s incredibly experienced for a 24-year-old and still has tons of room for growth. His performances have seen him become the target of many Premier League clubs including Leicester City.
Brendan Rodgers wants to sign a new striker and Toney is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
The England international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of striker Rodgers wants to target in the summer transfer window.
