Leeds United in advanced talks to bring Wolverhampton winger Adama Traore
The Wolverhampton Wanderers winger has been identified as one of the club’s potential targets as Jesse Marsch looks to add more reinforcements in the attacking unit.
It’s claimed by British media that Leeds United are in advanced talks to loan Adama Traore.
The 26-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
He is considered to be one of the best wingers in Spain. Traore has earned 8 senior caps for the Spain national team but is yet to open his goal-scoring account for his nation.
Jesse Marsch is looking to shore up his attacking options and Adama Traore happens to be a target. Marsch is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
Leeds United are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
The former Middlesbrough man will add a new dimension to Leeds United’s attack.
According to the report, “Leeds United are in talks with Wolves for winger Adama Traore. Football Insider says Leeds are keen to take the flying forward on loan for the season. Victor Orta, sporting director at Elland Road, is an admirer of the Spanish international, and was instrumental in signing him for Middlesbrough in 2016. A forward line including Traore and Dan James would surely be one of the fastest in the game – albeit possibly the least effective in front of goal. Traore spent the second half of last season on loan at Barcelona before the Catalans decided against making the move permanent.”
