According to multiple reports emanating from England, Lazio are linked with a move for Everton midfielder Allan.
Everton spent 23.6 million euros to sign the Brazil international from Napoli in the summer of 2020. He has one year left on his current contract which expires in 2023.
The midfielder has featured in 26 matches this term, providing 3 assists in all competitions.
He is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Brazil. Allan has earned 11 senior caps for the Brazil national team but is yet to open his goal-scoring account for his nation.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Lazio.
The report details that Maurizio Sarri feels his midfield currently lacks some bite and that he could strengthen this summer.
Allan is a long-term target of Lazio and could be a decent addition for Sarri’s side.
Lazio are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.

The pair worked together at Napoli and Allan is set to be allowed to leave by Everton at the end of this season. Il Messaggero says Sarri remains a big fan of the Brazil international and wants to bring him to Lazio this summer. Allan has struggled with injury this term and has been left unsettled after seeing three managers arrive at Everton over the last ten months. A free transfer is likely to be granted by Everton at the end of this campaign.”
