Lazio keen to land Danny Rose
There has been numerous left-backs linked with Lazio in past few months.
According to the football transfer rumours in British and Italian media, Lazio are keen to land Tottenham left-back Danny Rose.
The 30-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The England international was signed by Tottenham in July 2007 from Leeds United for a fee of 1 million euros. The 30-year-old has a contract until 2021 with the club. In January 2020, Danny Rose was sent to Newcastle on loan.
The left-back has just 12 months remaining on his contract and Tottenham may consider a deal in this transfer window to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.
Simone Inzaghi is looking to shore up his defensive options and Tottenham’s Rose happens to be a target.
The report claims that Lazio manager has extensively scouted Danny Rose and is considering a move for the left-back.
The left-back can also play as a full-back, offering Inzaghi a different option should he change his formation at Lazio. The England international has the quality and the experience to make an immediate impact.
According to the report, “Lazio are ready to bid for Tottenham fullback Danny Rose. Corriere dello Sport says Lazio are keen to sign Rose, currently on-loan with Newcastle United, in an outright deal. Lazio’s director of football Igli Tare is especially keen on the left-back, who has been on loan at Newcastle for the second half of the current campaign. The Serie A club look set to qualify for the Champions League, handing them an advantage over the Magpies.”
