The Colombia international joined Rangers from HJK for a fee in the region of 1.2 million euros in July 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Colombia. As a member of Colombia national football team, Morelos won 6 caps and he scored one goal.

According to the report, “Lazio are the latest club to be linked with Alfredo Morelos. The Rangers striker’s name has been mentioned in connection with numerous clubs, and the Serie A side are now reported to be among those interested. Morelos has been Rangers’ key player since arriving at Ibrox in 2017, scoring 77 goals in 137 appearances. Italian website ITA Sport Press says Rangers value the player at £17.9m, and that the side who were twice beaten by Celtic in the Europa League this season are keen to add him to their squad.”

The 24-year-old Colombia international could be a very good squad player for Simone Inzaghi over the next few years. He is at the peak of his career right now and Inzaghi could bring out the best in him.
