Juventus reach agreement to sign Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet
Juventus have reach agreement to sign Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet, according to the football transfer rumours in Italian media.
The Belgium international was signed by Sampdoria in August 2016 from Anderlecht for a fee of 10.2 million euros.
Praet made 55 appearances across all competitions for Sampdoria, scoring one goal and supplying four assists in return.
The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Belgium.
Dennis Praet has represented Belgium at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 47 caps and scoring seven goals, before making his senior international debut in November 2014. As a member of Belgium national football team, Dennis Praet won one cap.
According to the report, Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet next season for less than his 25 million euros release clause. The two clubs worked out terms to make the move happen since last summer. They will also include some players in an exchange deal for the Belgium international. Praet had also been heavily linked with Everton and Newcastle United.

The move was rumored for weeks and months before ever officially happening. At some points it seemed Dennis Praet would stay at Sampdoria, but for the most part it has been evident for some time that he would leave.
