Juventus preparing move for Real Madrid playmaker Isco

Juventus target Isco from Real Madrid to boost their attacking options.

According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish media, Juventus are preparing move for Real Madrid playmaker Isco.

The Spain international was signed by Real Madrid in July 2013 from Málaga for a fee of 30 million euros. The 27-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.

Isco made 279 appearances across all competitions for Real Madrid, scoring 48 goals and supplying 52 assists in return.

The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best playmakers in Spain. As a member of Spain national football team, Isco won 38 caps and he scored 12 goals.

Maurizio Sarri wants to sign a new playmaker and Isco is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a long term admirer of Isco and believes he can get the most out of the Spain international.

There is no doubt that Isco will take Juventus’s attack to a different level.

According to Football Espana, “Juventus are said to be increasing their efforts to land Real Madrid playmaker Isco next year, according to reports. Calciomercato claim that the Bianconeri are pushing to construct a deal to land the Spain international, who is said to be valued at €75m. It is claimed that the midfielder – who completely fell out of favour at the club under previous boss Santiago Solari – had been prepared to leave Los Blancos this summer. However, Zinedine Zidane’s return ensured that the playmaker had no intention of leaving the club and instead remain at Madrid under any circumstances, according to Marca last month. Madrid are said to have rejected approaches for the former Malaga player on this basis, with the hope that Isco would hold a role with greater prominence this season.”

Real Madrid are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the playmaker, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

Stylistically, Isco would be a great fit in Juventus.

How strong that interest is and whether Juventus will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
