Juventus linked with Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman

Juventus are planning a move for Kevin Strootman.

The reports in Italy suggested that Juventus are linked again with Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman.

The Netherlands international was signed by Roma in July 2013 from PSV for a fee of 17.5 million euros. The 27-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.

Strootman has played 107 times for Roma since signing from PSV, scoring 13 goals and creating 19 assists in that time.

The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Netherlands.

Kevin Strootman has also scored three goals in 39 games for his country.

The Netherlands international is high in demand this winter, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Roma this term.

Massimiliano Allegri is looking to shore up his midfield options and Roma’s Kevin Strootman happens to be a target.

The Juventus manager has been impressed by his performances this season and could make a move in the coming transfer window.

Juventus will be desperate to make an impact in winter transfer window.

According to the report, Juventus could attempt to sign Kevin Strootman, who has returned to full fitness after a series of serious knee injuries. While negotiating with Roma would be very difficult, there is a 45 million euros release clause in the Netherlands international’s contract, which is valid for both Italian and foreign clubs.

How strong that interest is and whether Juventus will make a winter move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
