Juventus need to strengthen their attack this summer.
According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish media, Juventus have entered talks with Real Madrid for Marco Asensio.
The Spain international joined Real Madrid from Mallorca for a fee in the region of 3.5 million euros in July 2015. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
This season, Asensio has scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists in 33 appearances for Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Spain.
As a member of Spain national football team, Asensio won 20 caps and he scored one goal.
Massimiliano Allegri wants to sign a new forward and Marco Asensio is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. The Spain international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of forward Allegri wants to target in the summer transfer window.
Marco Asensio would provide a good variety to Juventus attack.
According to Football Espana, “Juventus are planning a move for Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio this summer and have already made contact, say reports in Italy. Asensio turns 23-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Inter and various reports have mentioned the Spain international could be set for a move away from Los Blancos. The forward did not start Saturday’s El Clasico defeat against Barcelona – the 17th time he has started on the bench this season, fuelling speculation of an exit. Turin-based Tuttosport claims Juve – who swooped for Cristiano Ronaldo last summer – have already made an enquiry for the in-demand Asensio.”
