Inter in talks over 15 million euros deal for Lautaro Martinez

The reports in Italy suggested that Inter Milan are in talks over 15 million euros deal for Racing Club striker Lautaro Martinez.
The Argentina international joined Racing Club de Avellaneda from Liniers in 2014. His contract expires in the summer of 2020.
Since his arrival from Liniers, Martinez has scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 36 games for Racing Club, including four goals and two assists in 6 games in all competitions this season.
The 20-year-old has long been touted as one of Argentina’s most promising young talents.
Lautaro Martinez has represented Argentina at Under-20 level, winning 11 caps and scoring seven goals.
The Argentina international has impressed in Primera Division this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.
Luciano Spalletti is looking to shore up his attacking options and Racing Club’s Lautaro Martinez happens to be a target.

According to the report, the Nerazzurri are in advanced negotiations for Racing Club de Avellaneda striker Lautaro Martinez at a cost of 15-20 million euros. The meeting is planned for Monday or Tuesday in Milan with intermediaries. A basic verbal agreement is already said to be in place, despite attempts from Real Madrid to intervene, while Roma are also interested. Inter are proposing a five-year contract that will begin from June 2018. Martinez have also attracted strong interest from Borussia Dortmund and Monaco.
Signing the 20-year-old in January would be a masterstroke from Luciano Spalletti.
If he turns out to be a star like many expect, it could be one of the club’s smartest transfers.
