Inter reported leading the chase for Nice left-back Dalbert

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media (TuttoMercatoWeb), Inter Milan are leading the chase for OGC Nice left-back Dalbert.

The Brazil international was signed by OGC Nice in July 2016 from Vitória de Guimarães for a fee of 2 million euros. The 23-year-old has a valid contract with OGC Nice until June 2021.

Since his arrival from Vitória de Guimarães, Dalbert has provided four assists in 38 games for OGC Nice in all competitions this season.

The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best left-backs in Brazil.

Adding a left-back remains Inter Milan’s top priority this summer and Luciano Spalletti will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.

Luciano Spalletti has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe.

The Brazil international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of defensive player Luciano Spalletti wants to target in the summer transfer window.

Inter Milan are in the market for just a handful of statement signings this summer who can improve the first-team.

OGC Nice are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the left-back, but offers of at least 30 million euros may force the club to consider a deal.

Arsenal have reportedly registered an interest in his services and have enquired over his availability. It’s now down to the board to decide his future.

Dalbert would reportedly be interested in a move this summer, but if Inter do want him, they will have to beat those other interested clubs to his signature.

Having signed Dalbert for 2 million euros in the summer of 2016, to make a 28 million euros profit on the 23-year-old who, without question, will be fantastic for Nice is a good deal all round.
