The 19-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in England.

Matty Longstaff has represented England at Under-20 level, winning two caps. His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.

Antonio Conte has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe. He is a long term admirer of Longstaff and believes he can get the most out of the England international.

Matty Longstaff has the talent to play many roles in midfield.

According to the report, “Inter Milan are in contact with Newcastle United midfielder Matty Longstaff. The teenager is off contract in June and talks over a new deal have stalled. The Times says Inter are in contact about bringing the youngster to Italy this summer – but are not alone. AC Milan and Olympique Marseille are also interested in Longstaff. All three European giants are free to secure Longstaff to a pre-contract ahead of signing him on a Bosman this summer.”

Inter will have to come up with the right proposal to convince Longstaff to join the club.

Undoubtedly he would be a fantastic recruit for Inter Milan.

How strong that interest is and whether Inter will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
