Inter Milan are on the hunt for a left-back, and Emerson Palmieri is a player who is thought to be on their radar.
The latest reports in England suggest that Inter Milan are keen to land Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri.
Chelsea spent 20 million euros to sign the Italy international from Roma in the winter of 2018. The 26-year-old has two years left on his current contract which expires in 2022.
The left-back has featured in 21 matches for the Blues last term, providing one assist in all competitions.
The 26-year-old is considered to be one of the best left-backs in Italy. As a member of Italy national football team, Palmieri won 7 caps.
The Chelsea manager does not see him in his plans and would be open to letting him leave.
Antonio Conte wants to sign a new left-back and Emerson Palmieri is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a long term admirer of Palmieri and believes he can get the most out of the Italy international.

The left-back can also play as a full-back, offering Conte a different option should he change his formation at Inter Milan. Palmieri has the quality and the experience to make an immediate impact.
According to the report, “Chelsea are willing to sell left back Emerson Palmieri, but only for the right price. He has failed to set the world alight since joining the club, but still racked up a respectable number of appearances last term. And Goal claims the Blues are happy to sell Emerson, but they want £26 million for the Italy international. Inter Milan want Emerson, but want to pay closer to £22 million.”
