Inter Milan interested in WfL Wolfsburg’s midfielder Luiz Gustavo
According to the football transfer rumours in German Media, Inter Milan are interested in WfL Wolfsburg’s midfielder Luiz Gustavo.
Luiz Gustavo had signed for WfL Wolfsburg from Bayern Munich, for a free in a region of 16 million euros in 2013. The Brazil international has valid contract with WfL Wolfsburg until June 2018.
After his arrival from Bayern Munich, Gustavo has scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in 123 games for WfL Wolfsburg, including 13 games in all competition this season.
Inter Milan manager Stefano Pioli is a big fan of Luiz Gustavo. He sees 29 year-old as a natural replacement for Ever Banega if Argentina international leave in January transfer window.
Euro Football Rumours were informed that Inter Milan have problems with Financial Fair Play and first they must sell to raise the funds.
How strong that interest is and whether the Inter Milan will make a January move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
